These two Celtic knot designs are used on a 16" x 24" placemat and a 9 1/2" x 19" door pull or wallhanging. The pattern given is a quarter of the design, which should to be copied 3 times to make a complete full size pattern. The supply list contains the needed amount of fabric and notions to make both items. It calls for a 3/16" bias bar, but a 1/4" size bar will also work well. The picture shows the bias made from one fabric on the placemat, but the design has two strands, so two different fabrics could be used for the bias strips. The door pull is a single strand design.
