Updated as of October 2006, this pieced interlace booklet is by Peg Bingham. It features a design reminiscent of ancient Persia, with interlocking squares of color. Peg was inspired by a traditional pattern, the Carpenter's Square, which is a puzzle using four identical blocks rotated around a center.
This 105 page, 8 1/2" x 11" booklet has cutting instructions for a range of sizes, from a 44" square wallhanging to a 103" square quilt. Make a quilt with a Single Knot, Multiple Knots, or either with a Turkish Twist border, with a total of 17 quilt tops in 4 different styles included. Step by step instructions are given, with many diagrams to insure accurate piecing.
