There were two Celtic quilts and one Celtic decorated garment at the 2012 Pacific International Quilt Festival.
There were many Celtic quilts at PIQF 2011 in Santa Clara, California. Please be patient as the pictures load.
Leslie Peacock of Arizona made this machine embroidered jacket, Celtic Sunset. The back is also heavily decorated, but because the garment was hung on the back wall of the single garment area, no picture was possible.
Marakesj by Suzette Ehlers of South Africa. This 51" x 57" quilt is hand appliqued, hand pieced and hand quilted. The design is by Sue Prins and this is the second Celtic quilt made by Suzette to feature such elaborate Celtic designs. Simply Celtic by Anna Williams of New Zealand. This 40" square machine appliqued quilt features very fancy machine quilting in the open areas.

Annie's Legacy by Zena Thorpe of Chatsworth, CA. Her quilt received the award for Best Hand Workmanship at PIQF 2011.
