Scarlett's original quilt was created so that 12 very different friendship blocks could be used in the same quilt. All the blocks were made with the traditional Album block pattern, but color placement affected the way they looked when finished.
By placing the friendship blocks around the center star, this innovative design solved the problem of getting them to work together. Now the blocks are an integral part of the whole incredible quilt and look wonderful!
Use this newly updated pattern for your next friendship block exchange or create your own version using other block designs along with this stunning star. The finished quilt measures 60" (152cm) square.
