Influenced by her first computer and its workings, Scarlett designed this 40" (102cm) applique quilt because she felt it gave a unique impression of a computer circuit board. Celtic Circuits is a very versatile pattern, since the Celtic knots can be easily adapted to fit other projects that would be enhanced by a Celtic block, border or lattice.

Full size template pages are provided for half of the center knot block and one each of the border designs, which are made up of corner knots and side knots. Please copy or print multiple pages of the templates if you wish to make a complete pattern, or you can use each element separately for marking.

Celtic Fields 2021

Celtic Fields is a combination of bias Celtic applique, patchwork and modern quilting.

Celtic Fields is 48 inches x 47 inches with hand appliqued bias tape made from assorted prints. The Celtic knot designs are from Scarlett's Celtic Circuits pattern. The donated patchwork blocks were made from scraps pieced with the Meadowland pattern by ThenCameJune. The straight line machine quilting is in the modern style. Scraps from the top were pieced together for the binding.
